I tagged you and you didn't know it and you already responded. :) I liked the Herriot tapes too. They were hilarious in that dry English way. I haven't listened to them in a few years but enjoyed his drunken call to one family and the lady who couldn't figure why her dog was fat when she kept feeding him 'chips'.
As a golfer I could probably stand to read some Wodehouse.

I hadn't checked your site out today. I guess I was just getting tagged all over the place. :)

P.G. Wodehouse's golf stories are a must read as far as I'm concerned. I've never even played golf and I absolutely love them and always want to take up the sport after reading some of his stories. Maybe an actual golfer would feel differently, but I think they are great.

Lady Spud also enjoys the Herriot stuff very much, to the point that she wanted to be a veterinarian, but time and money would not allow it. She still loves animals, though she's starting to be less tolerant of the messes they make.

Do you like watching the BBC-TV series that is occasionally shown on PBS?
