Comments: Why.

Well stated Mama. Sad as it is, Casey Sheehan made the decision to serve this nation of his own freewill, a decision I respect and honor, his sacrifice while serving to liberate foreign nationals in the interest of our national security makes him one of the unsung heroes of this war. Cindy Sheehan's pandering to the press makes her look like a useful idiot at the hands of the media in the blame Bush quadrant. Casey Sheehan paid the ultimate price at age 24, not at 18 or 19 as some of the draftees of my era did. George Bush has successfully waged two wars against Islamo-Fascism abroad and has taken on the terrorist’s worldwide who have stricken this nation. In a country where body counts are the measure of wartime success Bush is way under when compared to Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon, by over 56,000 and so far Bush hasn't abandoned his military like Johnson did.

Very well said Mama, I totally agree and along with you and his mother we mourn the loss of another of America's Heros and wonder aloud where do we find such men. And answer it to myself "only in America".

Bravo and amen. Very well-stated. It's sad that this woman's grief, needing a target, has been expressed through sustained irrational anger and hatred toward the President. Sadder still is how she is being used by the radical left as a "poster mom" to leverage their own agenda. I don't think they care whether she ever comes to terms with her son's death; she's merely symbolic. And they will drop her and "move on" when she's no longer useful to them.

Hey, what Neil said.

What this woman is doing is a travesty. Isn't it ironic that these people bitch and moan at and about the very people who are defending and preserving their very right to bitch and moan?

I'm saddened at the death of Casey Sheehan, just as I am every soldier killed in the War on Terror. This does not mean that I do not hold deep felings of gratitutde for what they have done. These blogs are a direct result of people dying to preserve the rights of all Americans.

This woman should be offering a prayer of thanks to her son and his comrades instead of making a stink with the President. Her son was cut down by an evil terrorist, not by an evil Republican

Very well put. Unfortunately, your voice of honor and sanity won't reach Mrs. Sheehan in her irrational grief.
