Aw, thanks for the support.

I kinda wish the award thing was only one round, eh, so that I don't have to keep that stinkin' post at the top of my main page for the duration, lol.

To me, it distracts from my writing, but perhaps it will be worth it in the end.

Nonetheless, thanks again for supporting my efforts.

You got it girl. I voted for you twice, hopefully some more of my 3 readers will go and vote for my favorite Canadian blogger.

Oh, c'mon Jesse, you have 4 readers anyhow. 'Course that's 4 more than my intermittent blog has...
Loved the police advice about avoiding horses and cows. My horse thanks them as well, I'm sure. Friend of mine hit a deer. She thought that it hit the windshield and was thrown over the top of the car. She was busy keeping the car on the road and didn't really see though. She drives an old Volvo station wagon. Anyhow, she was really shook up and when she got home she told her husband about it. He was sympathetic and went out to look at the car. The deer, bloodied and with a broken neck was in the back of the car. He called one of the neighbors, who hauled the deer out, took to his house and butchered it.
Altho the car needed a new windsheild and back window, they also had venison stew.

Well shoot. I cruised past your blog Sam...enjoyed! and then went on to vote...but I was too late. Voting starts again on Saturday?
Anyhow...I gave it a shot!

I live and work in the mountains, and thus far I have succesfully avoided hitting any deer or elk on the highways. The only time I have ever hit a deer was on main street in Farmington, nm. Talk about irony, I drive by hundreds of them a year at 70 and hit one go 25 in town.

Now Jess, a little camel toe never hurt anyone. And yes, I feel great shame from littering.
