Comments: I guess you get what you pay for [or NOT]

i'm also surprised a an email to a general state government program garnered a response. In my experience, they don't do well with the really specific situations. Hence the general response.

Terence A. Russell: Deal with it man. You are not nor have you ever been a "native" Texan. Only a few of us are granted by the grace of God that honor and you're not one of those. Native Texan does not mean just because you are a hatchling of otherwise Texas parents you are a Native Texan. Your comparing the soldier's children born overseas to your case does not wash. You are a US citizen the same as that soldier's children. However, you ARE NOT and NEVER WILL BE a Native Texan! Deal with it counselor. You sound like a liberal democrat wanting to bend the rules to please themselves. NOT! Go home Oki and be pround you are from the great state of Oklahoma. I on the other hand bask in the grace of my Dear Lord to have the honor of being a NATIVE TEXAN without exceptions and so do my ancestors as far back as 1000 generations before me! My ancestors met yours at Plymouth Rock!
