Comments: Most Disturbing

I have always believe it unwise and counterproductive to use gigantic vermin as a means of selling food products.

I will note, however, that the Volvo has a nice looking set of Virgo alloy wheels.

Oh, that starburst commercial is very disturbing! Also the skittles one with the man with the beard that is apparently alive. yech

I also hate the Hardees commercials that show people stuffing food in their mouths with sound turned up.

But I do love the Sonic ones...they are hilarious.

We ate there yesterday and I must say, the kids LOVE it and the food is so quick.
Their onion rings are the best!

This sonic (in a different town) had a drive thru.
Why?

Maybe if all the spots are taken ?

Ours does not have that.
But this town is a military town so maybe they do much more business than the one here.

I love LOVE love the Sonic commercials. Hilarious! And the fact that they have good food is just a wonderful bonus!

I'm originally from Oklahoma (Sonic country), and I think the reason that some Sonics have drive thrus is for the call-in orders. I guess so the cars don't take up an extra space while just picking up their food??? That's what I've understood, but I could've just made that up in my head.....

That's interesting.

I had never seen one before so I was curious.

I am always so amazed at how quick the food is.

The burgers are SO much better than the place with the golden arches.

In December 2004 you posted a picture of one of your girls wearing only high heels and a diaper - a picture for all the world to see. (I got there by doing a google search for party ideas for my son.) Now you won't let the child wear a bikini. No judgment is being passed on you, although it can be considered hypocritical. Just something you should think about.

The commercials that bug me the most are talking fish, cows, chickens, in food commercials for these same products. How tasteless!

The Sonic commercials are hit-and-miss with me. What really creeps me out are the immobile plastic "spokesmen". Burger King started it, and Quaker Oats and Tractor Supply have followed suit. But the giant plastic king is the worst, and I'm not going back to BK until they get rid of him.

I think the Starburst Commercial is brilliant. Humor is the best way to make an impression on someone. Short Term memory will forget what was presented to it within 30 seconds... this commercial is odd, which makes you think about it over and over again, solidifying the images to long term memory, a homerun for any ad campaign.
The commercial didn't introduce some silly character that we will grow sick of like the Burger King character. Starburst focused on their product. Their product is so good, you won't notice that you've lost a couple of arms trying to retrieve one. If they are that good, I just might go buy a pack and see for myself. Mission accomplished.

Oh... and about those Sonic Commercials... yes, very good. They make me want to hop into the car and drive 200 miles to the closest one. I've never been to one, but I'll find one in Oregon eventually. Mission accomplished.
