You'd think it worked that way, but look at that guy who was not even indicted for the Olympic bombings in Atlanta. (I don't think he was indicted...) Everyone frickin' crucified that guy. He was a security guard, was Johnny on the Spot, and suddenly every hack psychologist was out there screaming he had some sort of 'wannabe cop complex' or all sorts of weird stuff, and the media completely crucified him. Every talking head, 'Guilty, Guilty, Guilty'.

And he was NOT guilty. I think it was that freak Randolph that did it. But now... i think the former security guard is very rich. The whole thing sucked.

Nifong got indictments, which says something about how easy they are to get.

But I want the Falcons to get rid of Vick. Not because of the dog fighting stuff - I'm willing to wait until due process has been carried out before I pass judgement on that - but because I'm sick of seeing him run AND FUMBLE. And run and FUMBLE.

Makes me long for the days of Steve Bartkowski and his bad knees.

Even though I have never been a Vick fan(Michael or Marcus)I am reserving judgement until the process runs it's course.
However, this is only the latest in a string of Vick related offenses and I do think he should take some time away from the team to avoid the ensuing media circus that could only harm the Falcons in the long run.

Exactly - exactly right! I've seen this type of thing happen far too often. I HATE when people are tried and found guilty in the media. Period.

Let's wait and see what happens when he gets a fair trial. (if that's even possible by now) Isn't that how this country is supposed to be? Sheesh!
