Comments: Sept. 11 Commission Hearings

The stuff I posted about on the blackout situation in WWII blew me away. My father was a teenager during the war, and he was a blackout warden. His job was to patrol on his bike and make sure blackout regulations were in force. This was on Vancouver Island/Victoria. I just always took it as a given that it was like that on every coastline in North America.

I had to read your post twice before the whole thing really sunk it. It's like hurricane parties, I guess, except they endangered everyone in the city, not just themselves.
