Comments: Avoid the holiday party!

Now I know why the company Wil works for gives out holiday bonus checks. Although it sounds like you actually livened up this otherwise boring party!

Never, ever go to a company party and drink. Never! Ever!

Career ruiners are what company parties are, they are just a trail to see who to fire next.

Exactly why I refuse to go to them as well. Next time you're invited, give me a call and we'll skip them both. If you weren't so darn far away, I'd meet you at Fritz's.

Hoo boy... Sounds like a time. I hate the muckity muck Christmas parties (Scroll down for *my* example...)
Gah... But I *would* like to try some Glogg one of these days (soon?). Let's see what we can come up with!

Dear Contagion,

My Company party is this Friday. We have much eye-candy to view, and after the party the invitation is open for all management to go to a local location of cold frosty adult beverages.

Being as how I like eye-candy and cold frosty adult beverages, and am viewed as the "Bad Cop" of the company (I do all the firing. Even if they aren't in my department) would you recommend I attend or not?

Bloodspite: Fire everyone before the party, then go alone and enjoy the stuff yourself. That's what I'd do.

Wil wants to know why the company you work for doesn't supply free drinks?

Hahaha.. yea. I'm glad you left before you did something regrettable. And never, ever waste a babysitter. It hurts our feelings and makes us feel incompetent.

p.s. did you ever figure out what happened to your sound on your computer?
