Comments: Here comes sensitivity class again.

OK, remember my nickname is PITA, so take this with a grain of salt, but....stick your guns. Absolutely.

The only thing I would have done differently is send emails documenting like that after each and every incident. THAT might be what they nail you with......

Good luck. I had a similar experience today.....

Absolutely, stick to your guns- and remember we're pulling for you.

Illigitimati non carborundum.

I probably would have handled it pretty similarly actually - especially after not once but twice getting screwed over while out of the office and not able to do anything about it.
I think about the only other thing I would have done is to maybe pull a superior aside and plainly explain "Look, my staff was pulled without consulting me. I need them, and I'm pulling them back. Just so you're aware someone will probably bitch, but I feel it's completely necessary and justified."
You know.. just to get the first move in when the whine-fest about how I'm not a "team player" (because, you know, screwing me over while I'm out of town is such a team play) starts likely behind my back.

Oh CRAP! Stick to your guns - sensitivity class will be okay. Again... You are in the right.

We're all with you here. I just wish we worked there so it meant something more than just moral support. *sigh*
