Comments: Fort De Chartres

Wil says just bring a spare blanket & use it has a matchcoat. It's easier than argueing with them. You shouldn't have attached the cape, that's what screwed you being able to use it.

If you can find 1st person documentation of the cape, bring the documentation and the capote with cape along. Show it to the Chaussers when you check in. And if they still ixnay it, leave it in the vehicle.

Your gonna love the event. By far the finest in the midwest.

And I told you they aren't arseholes about stuff, either. They could have seen the coat and said "NO, rejury."

Oh, you women!
Always worrying about what to wear!

You look fine! Can we just go now?

(Seriously, though, I'm impressed.)

There is no documentation for the cape, it was something I did because I was at an event where the wind was blowing and I took a piece of leather and wrapped it over my shoulders, it made it much warmer. After the event I made a cape, but I anticipated this, The cape is removeable, it's attached with period buttons (you can see them in the picture), I just unbutton the cape and it comes off.
