Comments: Holy Snow!

Man, it's not quite as bad as that photo yet, but looking at the cars out on the street the snow is almost up to the bumpers, which is pretty damned impressive... and the city hasn't bothered to plow my street yet. I am having doubts about my car's ability to get me to work today, although I'll probably give it a try.

Dude, the Weather Channel sent Jim Cantore to Chicago. That means Chicago will be screwed.

We are suppose to get 6-9 inches.

About 5 on the ground now, plus we had some sleet earlier. They say it should stop around 2.

I think we will get closer to the 9 inches.

Because some moron will go out and drive into a drift then b!tch at the local radio/TV/newspaper that there was no warning that there was going to be be so much snow.

Because some parent is going to be p!ssed off when school gets cancelled, all the day cares are closed, and they can't find anyone to watch the kids at the last minute and they *could've* looked for a sitter if only they'd had some warning.

That's why the frickin' idiot media over-predicts.

BTW, we got at least a foot.
