I know what you mean about toughing it out. In almost 6 years with the bank, I've never once called in sick. And considering I work with a bunch of "I'm staying home I have the sniffles" women, it's a damn good thing.

Funny how those 24 hour bugs always seem to hit on Mondays & Fridays, when we're the busiest.

Well, I take those days off because I consider them part of my hourly rate. I cannot roll or bank them - if I don't use them, I lose them at year-end. I don't call them sick days - why stay at home and be miserable. Technically, they are "disability days" - days when you are a "unable to perform your work". Yeah - when I'd rather stay home and dip my toes in carmel apple sauce is a disability day.

As far as doctors go, I fucking hate them. They may have given My Love an extra 6 months, but it was a horrible fight.

Yeah, lots o' people are quick to the pills.

Oh, and Harvey - change the damn URL on your comment here, you wanker.

Dammit _Jon! I'm the one who's supposed to notice the incorrect link and give Harvey crap for it!

Unfortunately I am afflicted with a syndrome instilled upon me by my dad. It's called gedyerassdaworknomaddawhut. Incurable I'm afraid.

A warning to all my employer's: When Johnny starts calling off work, he'll be leaving you within 3 months.

(Oh goody, another .mu.nu blog that doesn't remember my f_cking info.)

Listen here, Little Brother, I'll take a shot at dear-OLD-dad anytime I want. And if you get mouthy, I'll have our sister kick your arse.

:)

Well, cowboy, glad to see you're feeling better!

Oh no Big Bro! Don't "Call down the Whimsy" on me!

That wouldn't be fair because she's got one of them "Gender Cards", and I'm pretty sure she's not afraid to use it. :)

Thanks Maura. You too by the way. I was so tickled when you said you were feeling better, but my old "Lurker" habits stopped me from saying something then. I'm in rehab for it now, and I hope to come oout with flying colors. Sometime. ;)

DAAAAADDD!!! Dad, the boys are fighting again!
*pulls out gender-card and bursts into tears*
Muhahahaha!

Sure. It's Just like the little sister to run and tell Dad while in tears. I owe you two noogies, and one indian burn. (Stupid gender card)

;)
