Comments: Jimmy Carter blasts Zell Miller in letter

If Zell had actually said something of use I could see your point, but Millers rant was nothing more than an old man used as a mouthpiece for more campaign garbage.
Americans often speak of loyalty and to see someone give up his ideals and toss a grenade in the mule camp, can be nothing less than disapointing.

Oh God. Mr. Girly Man Supreme - The Ultimate Failed U.S. President all of a sudden has grown a pair?

Can stand up to a principled Zell more than he EVER did the killers & hostage takers of Americans - the Khomeini-ists, themselves?

All of whom grew cahones when Jimmy was asleep at the wheel, and for whom we can thank this miserable failure of a president?

The man who would defend his country - to include our WOMEN and CHILDREN - with Spitballs, Rocks, And Slingshots?

Put a sock in it, Jimmy. You are soooo weak.

I remember feeling shame for my country when this man was our President. Is that normal for a grade schooler?

And then Ronald Reagan came along and I felt real pride.

The Democratic Party has forgotten one of the great lessons taught this nation by FDR: the people don't need self-infatuated intellectuals who "know better" than them; they need men of character who act with decisiveness and get the job done. Carter's liberal hypersensitivity to Miller's righteous anger only reminds me of what happened when our nation was led by people who essentially distrust the power for good that we possess. FDR and Reagan knew who we are; Carter never has.

As if loyalty to a political party comes before family, God or country. I too remember growing up confused by gas lines, inflation, failed diplomacy, et cetera. He is the poster child for Oxygen Thieves. Cuck Farter.

This country has not seen a worst President yet Jimmy Carter continues to stay visible as a symbol of what is wrong with the Democratic Party.
