Comments: Merry Christmas 'n stuff

Merry Christmas, Johnny-Oh! I always love reading about how much you love your folks. I feel the same way about mine and it just warms my heart.

Yeah D. They are my "rocks". Something that I do a lot is shelter them from whatever may be troubling me. I try not to bring up the specifics, but they always know that something's up, and are ready to lend a hand at a moments notice. I seldom let them do so, as I don't want to be a trouble to them anymore. They had to put up with my teen years, and that's more than I'd wish on anyone. I know that I can never repay the kindness and love that they've given me, but the least I can do is act like a "man" and not visit any more trouble on them on my behalf. They deserve so much more, and I'll give what I can. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Happy Boxing Day! (Do you call it that across the pond?)

Glad you're back :-)

You know, I had completely forgotten about the "boxing day" tradition. We don't really call it that around here, but I think we should. It's a fine tradition. Thanks for reminding me. Now I've got a better excuse than "It's Sunday" to have a beer or three. :^)

When you've been away for a while (yeah a week is a while) it's hard to know where to start with a post. This is an excellent one *grin*. I'm a little late jumping in - but I hope you have an excellent New Year and have lots more time to post (only because you're working close to home NOT because you lost your job!!!)

[leaves a 6-pack to let Johnny-Oh know that he hasn't been forgotten]
