I wish your wife a speedy recovery (and you ,too, as I am sure it was no fun having to deal with the shock.)

I hope the car problems are over and that whoever caused your wife's wreck had insurance to cover damages and med bills.

Nope, a Jeep Grand Cherokee. But from what I understand, the problem does plague other "high-end" Chrysler products.

Mechanic says "I see those all the time..."

Glad to here your wife is alive and (from what you said) going to be alright. Hope your car problems are resolved in very short order. And agree with Vilmar...hope the pockets of the other party who caused the accident has the insurance to cover the med bills...and the cost of repair/replacing your wife's vehicle.
