Comments: Take a Stand

Well, for all we have in common (and it's a lot), this is one thing we don't. I'm picky. Everything.
I like Coke, but hate Pepsi. That sort of picky.

You may want to try this...

If you're in the situation like going to a party - it's often easier for the host to put specific stuff on their shopping list. You might say - "do you have a type of beer you like?" If they don't, then you can say, "I like any kind of beer, but generally drink Miller Lite at home." This gives them the option of getting either ML or anything else they might want to pick up.

As for going out with friends. Have a place in mind that you like to go. About every 5th time, you can then chime in and say "let's go here". Right now, you leave all the decisions up to everyone else (which is easy for you). But I'm sure your friends have the same thoughts you do about going to a place others may not like. So, think of one or two and every once in a while, you can make the choice. If they veto the choice - no problem - wait about 5 more times before bringing it up again.

Every once in a while, you should make it easy on your friends :-)

Just why are men like that? They can never make small decisions?

My hubby is like that and I tell you it pisses me off because I am the one that is forced to make the small decisions. Like where to go out for dinner or what take home to get.

I mean for once I would just like him to make that decision cause I hate doing it 100% of the time.

Make the freaking small decision and get on with life.

Christ almighty, men!

Actually Machelle - the reason I had some advice for Johnny is because I'm exactly the same way. It was VERY hard for me to answer people when they asked what I liked or what I wanted to do. (still is for that matter - but I squash it) So, I had to figure out a way to kinda force myself to do it. FWIW that's the method I came up with.
