Comments: Is Enterprise finale going to piss on the fans?

You know, this mess just sucks. >:( Tripp is one of my favorite characters. When the show first came out I actually googled the actor's name to find out what else he had done. I'd like to wring some necks over this.

Sounds like a rip-off of the finale on St. Elsewhere, where the whole series was revealed to be just the fantasy of an autistic boy.

I didn't realize St. Elsewhere had ended that way! I'm surprised I don't see it mentioned more, the way the "it was a dream" thing on Dallas is.

Yes, it's a real mess. I've been following this in the online fandom and everyone is just livid, including me. Methinks B&B should be summarily shown the door and never allowed to work with anything having to do with Star Trek again.

And, yes, St. Elsewhere really did end that way. I felt like I was taken for a ride by the writers.

I may be wandering into the lions den here, but as a huge Star Trek fan (especially DS9) I think this whole Enterprise thing was a dud from its first inception.
The whole concept is silly and the casting of Scott Bakula as captain was....was....well I'm lost for words as to what it was, but it was not good.
To me the whole thing reeked of contempt for the fans, as in "those morons will watch anything and we will prove it".
Just my 2 cents worth. :)

The finale just plain sucked! I thought the series was the best of any except the original. I didn't feel like the "whole" series was a holodeck creation, rather, the holodeck was used to "playback" history from that era. What is the point of killing off Trip? It makes no sense whatsoever. The finale was a major letdown, and didn't seem to have much thought put into its production. I could have probably written a better ending.

Berman is a dickhead for doing this.

The only "cool" tribute was the very end where Picard, Kirk and Archer all share in the "SPace the final frontier speech".
