Comments: Still Recovering

At a gardening conference this past weekend, one of the speakers said that they will soon be selling Rose of Sharon that is sterile (no self-seeding mania)!

I'm not all that wild about it anyway though to tell you the truth.

Love the curving flower bed!

I don't know if I love rose of sharon enough to plant even a sterile one, but I hated the one we just ripped out (planted by previous owners)so much that I practically go around warning everyone I know never to plant them. At least the seedlings come out of the ground fairly easily, if you get to them quickly. But most people don't actually like weeding as much as I do -- and I only like it before the weather gets hot.

Love the photos! How cute all of you are.

I can't even comment on the gardening because we have almost 2 FEET of snow outside of our house. And if I think too hard about the fact that you don't have snow, it will just depress me.

And possibly make me ramble on in even more incomplete sentences...

Chris, I'm glad we're into Spring down here in the South, but if I told my five year old you had snow, he'd be packing to move in a heartbeat. We haven't had a good snow in two years (which is really fine by me) and my son has been very disappointed.

Why, I had a nice weekend, thank you! (but nothing exciting enough to describe)

You make quite the elegant couple (the lady in red, ta daa da da da daa, the lady in red). I admire your courage in agreeing to photograph the wedding. While it should be straight-forward, if something messes up it's not like they can have a do-over of the ceremony. [HINT - use 2 cameras]

It's a shame that Baby Bea decided to get fussy on your date night. She'll get over it.
(I vaguely remember something about date nights ...)

Geez, rubble piles is the "official" name we have for them. So nice to know I am not the only one that seems to just shift them around, though I bet mine are worse than yours... mine have names!
